Here’s to hoping we see more of this potentially gruesome title in 2022. Thankfully, there is plenty to digest in this little snippet of probably-not-gameplay. I mean, who hasn’t walked down the street late at night only to meet a nice young woman who transforms into a monster you couldn’t even picture in your worst nightmare? The spectres in question roaming the streets, taking on the Tokyo Police who don’t have a hope in hell of stopping them. Yes, we’re still coming down from all those Game Award-induced energy drinks, but the trailer has us hooked. Sure, you could answer the Aka Manto when this toilet ghost asks you if you want blue paper or red paper, or you could boot them through the door and get all Doom Eternal on them.

Yes, we knew that she wasn’t playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the movie but after seven seasons (and an Angel crossover or two) we had difficulty separating the two.
